Thirsty for Love

petals filled with dew
still thirsty for your love
wanting more than rain

ecstasy filled nights
and red-painted horizon
matched the blazing sun

amber and gold leaves
slowly wither and fall
kiss the ground good-bye

snow-capped mountains
shimmering with the sun's rays
diamonds in the skies
