Love or Desire

you are my desire
tender and soft to my touch

my eyes can't resist

your lips are as red
as the freshly picked apples
yet can not be kissed

when you were younger
folks are drawn to your fragrance
smell from heaven

now that you are old
you fall to the ground, shriveled
no one picked but me

our lives are coming
closer and closer to dawn
only love remains
